Nigeria: Lagos Govt Disowns Football Agent - AllAfrica.com

The Lagos State Government have dissociated itself from any word word form of activity or human human relationship with one certain Yomi Kuku whom it said had been parading himself as an agent or organiser of street football.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Sociable Development Prince Ademola Adeniji Adele and made available to the media, the commissioner stated categorically that neither the authorities of Lagos State nor the Ministry had any form of interaction, contract nor relationship with Kuku.

Adele said it became imperative for the Ministry to do the statement given unparalleled blackjack by Kuku in the past hebdomads claiming that the Ministry plagiarised his thought in the conception and executing of its Street Soccer Championship.

In this regard, the Commissioner said in the statement that "a elaborate hunt in our records makes not have got Yomi Kuku or his NGO registered with the Lagos State Football Association or as an NGO with the societal development section of our ministry."

He further stated that the Lagos State Ministry of Sports have referred the publications to the necessary federal agencies including the Ministry of Justice, Federal Republic Of Federal Republic Of Nigeria Football Association (NFA), and the Nigeria Police Military Unit for necessary actions.
